We have a pastoral counselling service which we offer to people with links to our church. As we are Christians, we will always counsel people from that perspective, but you don’t need to be a Christian to ask for help.
The issues are as varied as people are and can include: depression, anxiety, couples therapy, pre-marriage counselling, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, anger, low self-worth, co-dependency, grief, loss, people pleasing, emotional/psychological abuse and child abuse.
Women
Mary counsels women within the church, and in the wider community. She has a Certificate in Counselling Skills and Theory (Trumpington College, Cambridge) and a Diploma in Counselling (Keele University) as well as many years of experience.
Mary now runs her own private counselling service. Click here to go to her website.
Men
Simon counsels men within the church. He has personal and professional experience of drug and alcohol use. He has counselled people living with HIV and AIDS for 5 years and has a Certificate in Counselling Skills and Theory (Birmingham University).
