Howard was pastor of Park Church for 41 years. He is now retired but remains an elder and enjoys helping churches without pastoral oversight.

He is married to Wendy, and has five married children who keep him busy with numerous DIY jobs, and 7 grandchildren.

Howard is committed to helping the Delhi Bible Institute and enjoys gardening, squash, windsurfing and Trentham Gardens.
