Day of prayer for the Suffering Church

Event Details

10am: service with Dr. Ron Boyd-Macmillan.
Dr. Boyd-Macmillan is Director of Strategic Research for Open Doors International, the world’s largest organisation assisting persecuted Christians worldwide, and a Professor of Practical Theology in Pakistan. He has enjoyed contrasting careers as a Bible smuggler in Cold War Eastern Europe, a pastor in England, a journalist in Hong Kong, a trainer of underground preachers in China and President of a speech tuition agency. He has also authored a number of books including one on preaching that Peter Mead says is “creative, insightful, humorous, challenging and helpful”. He has oversight of the World Watch List and has appeared many items in national media.

“Sam” works around the world supporting Christians who are widely persecuted for their faith. We cannot publish their details in advance for security reasons.
This is a joint event with several churches from the area.

Please do park your car in the Staffordshire University car park because on-street parking is very limited.
